The Grimsby Institute’s brand new £25 million University Centre Grimsby (UCG) is home to North East Lincolnshire’s Higher Education provision and offers over 60 Higher Education qualifications.
The building houses ultra-modern facilities including state-of-the-art theatres, research facilities, clinical skills rooms, laboratories for science and sports physiology, studios for television and radio broadcast and computer suites in which to study.
UCG’s Learning Centre is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and offers computer access to the internet, the Grimsby Insitiute network, commonly used software packages and printing facilities. Wi-Fi is available in the UCG and offers learners laptops, which can be loaned out for in-house use.
However, its not all work and students can enjoy the fully licensed bar, The Corner Lounge, and The Atrium eatery, which serves delicious meals and snacks.
Alongside outstanding facilities learners are taught by specialists in their chosen subject, who work hard to develop links with employers and industry to ensure learners graduate with the work related skills they need to succeed.
Three major universities accredit all of the degrees and foundation degrees, with fees set at less than £6,000, £3,000 less than many universities.
